About Jim Earle

Jim was born a fifth generation Kansan, from Beloit, in North Central Kansas. At age 18 he got serious about writing and playing music. His love of music led him to live in Nashville in the late 90’s, where he had the chance to meet other writers. A former union carpenter, he now is a full-time musician and writer, for Cold Winter Night Music and Publishing. Jim and his wife, Karen, reside in the Missouri Ozarks.

About the Music

Major influences regarding my music and songwriting; the late Guy Clark, John Prine, and Tommy Russell, to name a few. I'm also a big fan of the Avett Brothers, Kacey Musgraves, Tim McGraw, Iris DeMent, Emmylou Harris, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard (RIP Hag), and the list goes on.

I hope you enjoy what you hear, and thanks for listening,

Jim Earle
